The overarching goal of ADAPTING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO THE NEEDS OF THE LABOUR MARKET and thus INNOVATION in VET and FLEXIBILISATION OF OPPORTUNITIES in VET planning in the European context is pursued with an interactive online application for creating a personal learning journey tailored to the modern labour market, which turns users into HOLISTIC NEW WORKERS. Today, interdisciplinary skills play a major role in the recruitment process and are therefore essential to cope with the future world of work.
Our tool offers an INNOVATIVE FORM OF ORIENTATION ASSISTANCE and training, which subsequently increases the employability of the users. In addition, the use of the tool increases both DIGITAL COMPETENCE and the ability of SELF-DEFERENT LEARNING.
The development of the tool together with the target group and the trainers allows for a target-group-oriented access. Due to the diverse target group experiences of the partners, we can diversify the target group requirement for our test and evaluation group and thus also consider and test the BARRIER FREEDOM of the application.
We set ourselves the target that at least 80 percent of the users are "completely satisfied" or "mostly satisfied" with the FSC tool.
The Future Skills Cockpit will have the following product features:
+ The tool, including the stored competences and competence levels as well as the embedded e-learning, will be continuously adaptable to new labour market requirements.
+ Multilingualism in the national languages of all partner countries ensures that the tool can also be used by people without knowledge of English.
+ The tool enables the individual development of a learn journey for future skills including formal, non-formal and informal forms of learning. The learn journey serves to close the competence gap in labour market-related future skills.
+ The labour market reference is ensured through the inclusion of the European Skills Classification ESCO and the CEDEFOP Skills Forecasts 2020.
+ The tool will be intuitive to use.
+ Free technical access through the possibility of embedding in different software environments such as learning platforms will be ensured. Thus, there is NO binding to mobile operating systems.
+ In order to guarantee use for people with limited opportunities for participation, access will be free of charge. + The integration of an e-learning on Future Skills into the FSC tool conveys the benefit of the application to the users.
With the digital implementation of the Train The Trainer module and the associated elimination of travel, we are making a contribution to saving costs and emissions.
